Safe and sound in San Diego!

Good morning everyone! So, here I am, writing from the comfort of our hotel room in San Diego! Yesterday was a long day of travels and overpriced airport food, but we made it safely without a hitch! Everyone is in great spirits, excited to make our way to Mexico this afternoon. What can I say really - our day consisted of driving, waiting, hanging out, flying, waiting, etc. Once in San Diego, we dropped Dylon off so that he could spend the evening with his sister, and then headed out for a great first team dinner.
Highlights of yesterday? There were definitely many laughs at having to wait in what looked like a portable at Bellingham airport. Brian and Alex, who share my room as I type this, say "Oh! Make sure you mention the cookies!" Yes, indeed, upon our arrival, we got some amazing, warm cookies.
Overall, it was really great being able to spend time together, getting to know one another.
Here are some pictures from our first day!
Now off we go to Mexico!
Thanks for your prayers!

Our plane from Bellingham to Seattle.

Sam practicing for his future "private plane" exits.

On the train that connected us to the N termainl in Seattle.

Alex admiring the view.
Katie and her mom.
Pausing in the Seattle airport to enjoy the view.

Many of the guys on the trip were dismayed that we were flying on "THE DISNEY PLANE?"! This leads to many jokes about how "goofy" our plane looked.

Safe and sound in San Diego!
